The Last of Us 2 Release & Collectors Edition!

I know we have been waiting since 2013 for The Last of Us 2, the wait is finally nearing its end. After The Last of Us 2 release date leaked on a Swedish retail site, Naughty Dog has since confirmed that the long-awaited game's release date is February 21, 2020.

The Last of Us 2 was one of the games most-prominently in Sony's latest State of Play presentation. For the uninitiated, State of Play is a relatively new video series by Sony where it focuses on upcoming PlayStation games, like Nintendo's Nintendo Direct presentations. The Last of Us 2 release date announcement is easily one of the biggest reveals to be featured in a State of Play to date, and may raise expectations for future presentations.

With the release date of February 21st, 2020, Naughty Dog has also revealed that there will be five versions of the game. The Standard Edition, Special Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Collector’s Edition and Ellie Edition. There’s no imagery or pricing as of yet, but surely these will come in the near future.

The Collector’s Edition includes a beautifully crafted 12” Ellie statue, a life-sized replica of Ellie’s bracelet, a custom SteelBook case, 48-page mini art book from Dark Horse, a set of six enamel pins, lithograph art print, and a set of five stickers. The Collector’s Edition also comes with a voucher for digital content, PS4 dynamic theme, a set of six PSN avatars, a digital soundtrack, and a digital version of the mini art book.

All i can say is how exciting and cant wait for this game!
