Jumanji's tie-in game doesn't look that bad!

Jumanji video game that was announced a few months back? No? I don't blame you, especially since it was announced well after The Rock-led reboot/remake/sequel released.

While it is likely being made to coincide with the upcoming release of Jumanji: The Next Level, this seems to be based on that first film instead. It's very confusing, but at least the game doesn't look that bad.

This is a beat-em-up, third-person shooter mixture. We don't get the best look at the various different genres being mashed together, but I don't think it looks that bad. It's clearly a budget title made to ride the hype of the popular films, but it looks better than it has any right to. The Rock has seen better days, though.

Jumanji: The Video Game will be heading to PC (via Steam), PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on November 8, 2019.
